LOL.....very good question, Lelia. I have no idea. My sister and her family do

and we tease them

something awful. They tell us that we're " qwee-ah " (queer). It's just too

funny. I would LOVE to meet

you. I don't think Caribou is that far from Presque Isle, is it? Maybe you

don't know. If not, that's

very do-able. It would be great to meet someone from this group. :o) Oh, and

a big yes to meeting at

Wally world. We love Wally-world. LOL. Maybe I'll help you look for those

chocolate covered almonds I

talke about. Or better yet, maybe I'll bring them when I meet you, because I

think it's a Canadian

Wally-world product. :o) Keep me posted as the time grows nearer.

Hi, Lynn. Not good at all today. Muscles are soooooo sore and heavy.

OUCH!! This really sucks. That is very strange how the DVT came back in the

other leg. I guess I forgot that. You should question the Hemotologist the

next time you see him. Maybe you'll stump him, too. LOL. I've always been

blessed with low BP, so I haven't really noticed a difference as far as

that's concerned. It's great that it helps yours stay low though, especially

since you think it was the BP meds. that sparked your DM in the first place,

right? I forget what it was called. Lipids? Hmmm...can't remember. Go

figure! LOL. My INR was 1.9 today (it was 2.2 when I was discharged from

the hospital on Tues.), so that's why she wants me fluctuating the doseage.

It doesn't bother me, though (as long as I can keep in straight in this pea

brain of mine.....LOL). I completely understand about the paranoid thing,

when you have a pain in your calf. Totally! However, my Dr. says you're not

supposed to be able to develop another clot while taking Coumadin and your

INR stays at healthy level. I just keep reminding myself of that. My GP

suggested I wear support hose the last time I had a DVT and I got a pair ($40

with taxes!!!), size XL, but they were so bloody tight I couldn't stand

them. Hubby and I struggled to get them on (comic relief at it's best!!) and

once they were on, I just couldn't stand them. Do you wear them?

My doc never told me that while on coumadin you're not

supposed to get a DVT! Good to know... " you're not

supposed to... " hmmmm! LOL!!

I never needed BP med, but since Pred, my BP was

creeping up.

I wear knee high support hose. I can't imagine

wearing full length support hose. Not only would you

feel like a stuffed sausage (and too hot) but I bet it

would be walking like you had rubber bands from the

waist down! LOL!!! I can just imagine...hehehe!

My doc never told me that while on coumadin you're not

supposed to get a DVT! Good to know... " you're not

supposed to... " hmmmm! LOL!!

I never needed BP med, but since Pred, my BP was

creeping up.

I wear knee high support hose. I can't imagine

wearing full length support hose. Not only would you

feel like a stuffed sausage (and too hot) but I bet it

would be walking like you had rubber bands from the

waist down! LOL!!! I can just imagine...hehehe!

Don't worry, I am not intending on getting stuck in any snow!! Why do you

think I live in so. cal. instead of Wisconsin!! Haven't seen snow in 8

years......don't miss it at all!!! Ok, that's not true, I miss it at

Christmas when everyone puts up lights, it is just not the same on 'snowless'

homes......
