Guest guest
Janet, How's he doing on the Imuran? My new/old Rheumy was talking about switching me to this because he said it was less toxic than the Dapsone with fewer side effects too and I was thinking of talking to my GP about this. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hi all..Pete had lost 80% of his hair from methotrexate..about 6 weeks ago he was switched to imuran...4 weeks ago he started using the x-tra strength rogaine....now he has " peach fuzz " and alot of it. The problem is we don't know if its from the rogaine or the discontinuance of the metho.Or perhaps a combo of the two.. He is going to keep using the rogaine ...Janet G. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Guest guest
, I take Imuran and have since the onset 7yrs ago. No side effects for me except the immune system being knocked down! Says it can cause stomach trouble but I have had none. In fact when I am on it alone I can't tell I am taking it! I guess I am lucky in that aspect of this RP. This is the first flare that I have had in about 3yrs and I think it is making up for lost time! It isn't as bad as when I first started now that I am on the pred. I still know it's there thats for sure! Continually dull ache in the roof of my mouth! Hope others let you know how they do with Imuran! Good Luck!
