Guest guest
Sandy, These are questions that I can't answer... The spit test is just an at home test to see if you may perhaps be dealing with a candida issue, but it cannot really tell what is going on inside the body or where. I doubt that it would reveal if you have mold or bacteria in your system. A candida infection arised because candida is opportunistic...that is, candida in all its forms are always present in the body, but is usually kept in check by the presence of healthy gut flora, such as that found in kefir and yogurt and other fermented foods. If you take antibiotics, and kill all the healthy and beneficial gut flora, candida, (which is a fungus), is not killed and it can then take over predominance in the gut. It is vital that the flora in the gut be rebalanced with healthy bacteria. Some candida infections become very virulent, if they are allowed to go on for so long that they change form, and penetrate the intestinal walls. In these cases, an antifungal medication may be required, such as Nystatin or Diflucan. Sandy, I'm not sure why someone would have a swelled belly, but I would suggest using hydrochloric acid if you suspect incompletely digested foods and to increase the stomach acid to be sure to make all nutrients available. You are taking enzymes, right? I believe that in your case, a supervised fast would be very healing for you. It sounds like you have a terrible time eliminating toxins, and this sluggishness is keeping you in a toxic state. How is your kidney function?
