Hey Ladies,

I'm a newbie to this board. I was dx with having a uu last July.

We have been ttc for a year and a half. I was on clomid for 6

cycles. It did not work for me. It caused my lining to become very

thin. Then I had an HSG. Because it showed a blockage I had a

laparascopy, hysteroscopy and a D & C. Then we tried a cycle with

follistim but I wasnt on enough meds and my follies did not get

large enough. We tried another round of IUI with gonal f. The

cycle was perfect but failed. Currently we are resting and trying

to decide what to do. My re said we only have about 20% chance of

getting pg with IUI because I only have one tube. Because it is so

expensive we are considering IVF. Our insurance does not cover

anything. For the price of three IUI's we could have one IVF. I am

a teacher and was wondering if we do IVF, would our chances be

better if I wait until the summer. Less stress and worry. It is

just the waiting that I cant stand. I would love to hear some IVF

success stories. My re said that he would only transfer one embie.

Is that the norm? He said that he didnt know if I could carry

twins. How important is being off of your feet after the procedure?

Does it help? In the mean time has anyone ever tried fertility

blend, ovulex or any other herbs that might make my little eggies

grow? Please help the wait is terrible.
