Guest guest
Read the book Cuz....It will tell the story better than a movie can.... Book Have any of you seen the movie Rabbit-Proof Fence or read the book....I saw the movie on Encore the other night and it still sticks with me...It centers around three aboriginine girls who were taken from their mothers and put at the River Camp...They called them aboriginine casts, which meant half breeds....This is a true story and very intense....At the end of the movie they showed the two that were still living and one of them tells what happened later.....The book is written by one of their daughters....I highly recommend the movie and the book, altho I can't read any more, it has to be good.....It's sad and another autrasity against humans..... Guest guest
Christy, I don't do sad movies anymore either. Everyone keeps telling me I should see or read " The Notebook " , but I just don't think I can. Movies was Book I saw a preview for it but I haven't seen the movie. I can't do sad movies anymore because it sticks with me for too long and I'm already having trouble dealing with " reality " these days. I did screw up and I went to see The Notebook with my SIL and a friend and . I could hardly hear the movie over all the snorts and sniffles. And most of them were from me! I haven't cried during a movie since I saw Fantasia when I was 5! LOL What a movie. If you haven't seen that one, go! --

Guest guest
I have not seen the notebook but the book was incredible. I cried through half of it, so did Warwick!
