, she's going to need some medical help with detox. Did you say some time back that she has had Lupus enduced seizures? If so, she would have a much lower seizure threshold when detox starts. Not to worry, there are medications to help and schedules to go on to help with the detox. Keep us posted.

a B, yes, the dr said that at the very LEAST they would have her on methadone, and that he would probably be encouraging her to stay in the hospital for a few days at least. My dad felt like he was really putting this man on the spot so he didn't push for too much info, we are just very happy that she just might get some help.

a C. - - I can only imagine how emotionally difficult this has been for you and your family - and then poor , sweet kid sure doesn't deserve this kind of pressure. Good to hear the doctors listened to your parents when they called and had a conference. If she is cut off from her supply of drugs, she's going to need some medical help with detox. Did your parents call Carla Sue's dr's? If they did, what has happened? How is doing? Actually, they did call the dr's. Her rhuemy had a phone conferance with her pc this afternoon. They told my dad that they really can not discuss her case with us but that if they did decide from the

conferance that she has in any way been abusing her pain meds that it would be put to a stop asap. He also said not to worry about anything coming back on us about that because dr's do routinely (sp) discuss patients treatment plans with each other when they are both seeing that person so for all she will know, that's what happened. is doing well, she called today wanting him to come home and he stood his ground and told her that he is going to finish the school year out here at the very least. He says that he hates to see her like this and he doesn't want to contribute to her feeling bad, but he just cant take it anymore. I told him that he is welcome here as long as he needs us. I will let you guys know next week what happens, as I know that if they change her meds on her, this will be the first place she calls to yell about it.a C "The LUPIES Store" Come check out our store...http://www.cafepress.com/thelupies"The LUPIES Web Page"http://www.itzarion.com/lupusgroup.html"The LUPIES online photo albums!"
