Guest guest
Hey everyone, Well we finally got the results..about dang time it's only been 3 weeks. First off he has a bone spur on his foot..can we say ouches. The gall bladder has a thickening in the walls..he told me the name but darned if I know how to spell it nor how to say it lol... help please :-) So, he put him on antibotics for 20 days. Then after that if he isn't any better he will do an endoscopy (sp?). If none of that does any good or shows anything good hubby is looking at taken the gall bladder out...joy NOT. Hubby is still having chest pains but doc. wants to see if it is the gall bladder before pushing the heart doc. So, you'll have to stay tuned to find out the ending lol. As for me, I'm doing ok other than wanting to sleep alot. I go next week I think it is to the dermo. for my monthly check. Then a couple of weeks later to the PCP for my check up with him. Guest guest
Hi Angie, Yes, it could be so much worse. Hopefully now he will be able to start feeling better. Just one word of caution: Beware of anyone - Orthopedist, Podiatrist, etc. who says they can "fix that heel spur." I have horrible spurs. I'm sporting one in each heel, both about 1/2" and built like crochet hooks. I have seen 5 orthopedic surgeons and a couple podiatrists. I was told to not have them surgically removed. I have had my heels injected with steroids (not fun, but sure helped). I had molds made of my feet and orthodics made. Now, the orthodics really helped a lot. There really isn't any way to surgically remove a heel spur and not cause bad scaring. Angie - when he tells you his foot hurts, believe him. Heel spurs are some kind of awful for sure. Staying off his feet is the best medicine. Hugs - a B Finally got those ultrasound results on hubby....not to bad Hey everyone, Well we finally got the results..about dang time it's only been 3 weeks.
