It's all mixed up, so they can't call it straight silver or straight mercury or straight copper. It's an amalgam mix. Is the lady who said she did well with her dental implants totally free of disease? If she is not, then she does not know for sure that the dental implants were not involved. The immune system is the system that is affected, and the diseases that are associated with an affected immune system are many. I would never had made the connection between my painful, arthritic knee and my root canals, were it not for the book " Root Canal Cover Up " by Meinig, and my dentist's wife, who brought it to my attention. It was a strange correlation between the molars and the knee joints, and no other dentists made the connection. They said I was fine. But I was not....the knee pain disappeared after the root canals were removed, and it was due to BACTERIA, and my knee was my body's area of weakness as related to the bacteria and my immune system. So, please keep this in mind when you get your new dental work. I hope you do well! I'm sorry to hear about your finger...OUCH! Please take care of yourself. My daughter has a nail like that...it turned black....she smashed it at work months ago, and it is slowly growing out, but the black is still there. She says it still hurts, but it is not infected. The blood just needs to work its way out. If yours is still bleeding, keep it clean and wrapped in a bandage so it does not get infected. Do you have some antibiotic ointment?
