Guest guest
Thanks Jenn for the info. Jake is on the same diet MCT/Cream mix so we are on the same page. We did the same thing and increase the dietary fat but we also increase the MCT oil but not protein. This does in theory also increase the calories as there are calories in dietary fat so hopefully that will work. Jake's carbs are pretty low anyway as we had played with them a while back. What is a BHB monitor???? Thanks again for all your help. Re: Low Ketones/Jenn Mike is on the MCT/cream mixed diet. When we changed the diet, we didnt change the calories, just played with the ratio. We increased the cream and lowered the carbs. We didnt touch the oil at all. It was a slight change, but it worked really well. Mike's ketones are more stable now, and we actually see really high ketones in the pm (have to do something about that soon as they cant be measured on the BHB monitor right now, just says " hi " ). Do you have a BHB monitor? I dont know what I did without mine, helped figure alot out as it is much more accurate for me to test Mike's blood ketones than his urine ketones. Let me know if you have any more questions. Hope this helps some. Jenn sarah.anaya@... wrote: > Jenn, Thanks for the info, I will check out the websites.
