You are very welcome. I was born with a cast iron stomach. Oh, I'd get the occasional bug and stuff, but I could eat any kind of food I wanted without any trouble other than weight gain. Even with the diagnosis of Fibromyalgia and Lupus I had no stomach trouble, even with my medications. Then a couple years ago I slowly started having some burning with my morning medications so I started on "The Little Purple Pill." Or some such thing - and the problem went away unless I didn't take my pill. Then a little over 6-8 months ago or so I started having trouble with different foods - - Dairy: so I now take a lactaid every time I am going to eat or drink anything dairy. Then Red Meet (beef, Elk, Moose etc): my stomach just didn't want to digest it. So I cut out about 90% of that. My list has just kept growing. When I get nauseated it does not come on gradually. It hits like getting kicked, and it's violent. I kept a food diary, and with Donna's help I've about decided I have a wheat (gluten) intolerance. I went off all things with gluten and felt better almost immediately. Then about 5 days later I ate a few things with light amounts of gluten and I'm doing OK. BUT - I have a doctor's appointment soon and will talk to him about being tested for Celiac Sprue (SP?). From what I have read, it is quite common with autoimmune problems. I also read that if you do have it - even though eating a little gluten may not make you feel sick, it still does damage. So, Why am I telling you all this??? I'm wondering if you need to talk to your doctor about the possibility of having an intolerance to some foods & also keep a food diary. Please let me know how you do, OK??? Hugs - a B
