Guest guest
Hi Kris, Welcome to the group. I am very sorry about your losses. I have only had one m/c but know how devestating it can be. Is your dr ABSOLUTELY sure from the MRI results that you are BU and not SU instead? I ask this because many of the women on this board have found that their ob/gynes do not know how to read the MRI, so they rely on the report from the radiologist. Well, it is OFTEN the mistake that the radiologists call anything with more than one cavity a BU and they do not go further to distinguish if it is SU or UD. And it would be horrible to misdiagnose an SU because SU is associated with a high m/c rate. Please make sure that your dr has diagnosed you correctly. Let us know if you need help to learn how to distinguish these two diagnoses. Many of us have been in your shoes. Is your dr doing any other testing (like bloodwork) to see if there is another reason for the 2 early losses? I would be concerned if nothing is being done. Perhaps you could visit a reproductive endocrinologist (RE) to see if s/he would recommend any further testing before you ttc again. My heart goes out to you and your dh. I'm glad that you found this group. They have helped me to get the answers that I needed and helped me through the worst of times. We are here for you.
