Dear Ladies,

I am writing to first apologize to the group for mentioning anything of

a political nature when I posted about Universal Health Care. I thought

that, even though politics is an explosive issue, that this subject did

have some relevance to our group. I took a chance, and I thought that

we did have reasonable responses to the subject...I had faith that we

could be pretty mature about everything, and most of us were. We've got

an amazing group of ladies! But in the end, I was wrong. It was not an

appropriate post and a few women were offended.

We've had several periods in the past when posts got out of hand, and as

owner of the group, I've had no problem getting rid of the problem

posts, and redirecting the subject to healing and getting better.

That's where we need to stay focused. We've had lots of success in

staying on track and helping women find the path to health that has made

a big difference for them. In fact, 'we've been the most successful

support group for women with breast implants on the internet, according

to some estimations. It has slowed down in recent months, but we are

still fairly active.

I've known (with 8 years of moderating the group) that it is much better

to nip controversies in the bud and send the concerns to private

conversation if women desire to continue it. It's the only way to

conduct support and keep everyone from suffering the ill effects of

setbacks through stress and upset. It's just fair and considerate to

everyone on the board, and I think you will agree with me on that one.

Today I realized that politics is just off limits, period. Our country

is going through changes that are significant, and I am certain that

everyone has concerns, but I don't believe that it is a safe subject AT

ALL for us to discuss in any way, shape or form on this group. It is

just too upsetting for many, and we frankly don't have the space or time

to spend on this vast subject.

So, I do apologize for sending the post about Universal Health Care in

the first place. I have removed it and all associated responses from

the message archives. I hope no one has suffered ill effect from

anything I have said. I do care about all of you and my greatest hope

is that you will be healed and healthy for the rest of your lives.

Now, I am going to make a request that we forgive and forget what has

been done, and further agree that any political posts of any nature be

considered totally OFF LIMITS to everyone, in the interest of group

cohesiveness and fairness. Let stay on track with sharing info about

explant, healing, and therapies. I am making a committment to not be

party to any posts that discuss anything of any political nature,

including universal health care plans now or in the future, nor will I

allow any posts to begin or promote anything that is political in

nature. Agreed?

I also have, as owner, the ability to moderate posts from anyone who is

a risk in sending messages that are not authorized for dissemination.

Of course, I often do that when spam hits, but I did that earlier today

when one of my posts showed up without my permission, which was

unfortunate. I did not appreciate that, and I am sure many of you did

not either. Let me just state that I think it is courteous to request

permission from anyone if you are going to post something you did not

author.

I stand with all of you as an American who loves my country and all that

she stands for. May the Star spangled banner long yet wave, over the

land of the free and the home of the brave! God bless America. God
