Yes Yes Yes - :) You can do it ! I had a headache for a week and a half and I kept saying I'm not stopping now - I'm detoxing and that is good - This too shall pass - etc, etc, And you know what ? It did pass and the headaches went away.

Re: Hungry and tired

I was actually surprised that I was feeling this way so soon, I only started yesterday. But thats good, my body is trying to get used to getting along without the bad carbs.I will be strong!> > > I feel hungry and tired. 4-5 oz Crystal Light Orang w/vitamins

5-6 oz Hot Tea with 1/2 packet Splenda

Ham & Egg Quickie 2 eggs (1 whole and 2 egg whites)

Snack

Mozz Cheese Stick

Lunch

Romaine Salad with misc veggies and deli turkey and a homemade allowable dressing

Snack

10 almonds & 5 walnuts (ran out of almonds)

Diet Pepsi

Later - 1 sugar-free CreamSaver

Dinner

2 all-beef hot dogs with romaine salad and various raw veggies/homemade dressing

Drinking water all day long

Note - this is by far the worst dinner I've had in 11 days. It was just one of those days - no time to food shop, many schedule changes, etc.

I guess my protein/salad portions need to be larger?????

--- Depending on your hunger/cravings/energy levels, you might be

just fine. You had eggs, deli turkey, cheese, and hotdog, so your

protein sounds adequate. If you are getting at least 4 cups or more

of vegetables that is good too. More would be determined by hunger

etc.

Great food day!! sounds like you had a great mental connection day

too. Keep it up!

Jackie,

Don't let yourself go hungry. If you feel hungry, go ahead and eat.

As long as you stick with the foods allowed, you can eat as much as you

need to.

There are times (especially TOTM) when you are hungrier than others.

Don't over-analyze it.

I make myself take a walk. When I get some activity it energizes me.

Same for me - as tired as I thought I was after work, the walk I took really energized me greatly.

Hi Risa...

That is wonderful you have a dog to walk with.. I have

a cream and white persian cat..

Her name is Lola and she does get whatever she wants..

She is very loving but a tad spoiled.. She has been

known to want to sample some of my cheesecakes.. I

think she believes she is human and should eat all the

goodies she sees us eating..

She does get her pate everyday but still lusts after

my dessert.. GGG

These days I have way more

matter than mind....so tis hard what you suggest! <smile> But

alas, I have set my mind to it and am going to give it my best shot

"tomorrow". Know that sounds crazy, but I do not exercise on

Sunday....(actually right now do not exercise Mon. to Sat. either

<grin>). This is one thing I am going to make myself do. Which

is best am or pm? I work 8 to 4:30 most days M-F. KC

Hi Kathy..

I would hit the excercise in the morning before you go

to work.. It will make your work day seem so very

effortless...

I know I used to swim a mile everyday at 6 am and by

the time work started at 8, I wondered if I was

working at all..

My output at work was double that of my co-workers

that had just arrived and were still half asleep..

My boss did did not even mind that I sometimes arrived

with my hair slightly wet. GGG
