My life...the sitcom!

I love to share my stories with you guys because, I swear, sometimes it's

unbelievable even for me! Here's my latest moments that require a laugh track.

I went to Sam's Boat/Sam's Place last night to listen to a friends boyfriend

spin. He's a DJ. We get there and she's all upset because his car is there and

he's inside with another " woman. " She was going on and on about it but she

wouldn't go up to the car. She wanted to confront him later. I would have went

up to the car but that's just me. She sits down and orders a burger and fries.

She's on a diet but this made her mad so she said TO HECK WITH IT. I ordered the

mix grillers. It had grilled chicken, grilled shrimp, grilled veggies, and rice.

I did have a Dr. Pepper instead of water but I did well with my eating that's

for sure. I got to watch her devour her burger and friends and my other friend

eat his red beans and rice, coconut shrimp, and fries. <drool> Anyway....we sat

there for awhile and she finally got up to go to his car (a full stomach made

her braver I guess) and she knocked on his window. He was in the car with a long

haired GUY who was showing him new CD's to spin! ! ! It was JUST like a sitcom.

I also asked my friend if he would walk with me after we were done because I

wanted to get some exercise. He said yes (I hate walking alone) but when we got

home he was like...UM...isn't it too late? I was like yeah but why not? This is

a safe neighborhood. SO....this is how dedicated I am...I went for an hour and

15 minute walk Saturday night at 2:30 a.m.! LOL! But I had to walk. And it's

very safe around here. We usually walk up and down the street but we go into

another apartment complex and take 4 or 5 laps around the complex. Got back at

almost 4 a.m. but you know what? I felt great and I slept great. The few people

that were up when we were walking were looking at us funny. Two stupid guys

walking for exercise at 2:30 a.m.! LOL!

I just had to share. It was tooooooo funny. I also went to put on my glasses

Saturday morning and for the 3rd time they broke in the middle. Thank goodness I

brought my contacts with me or I would have been so blind all day. I can't see a

thing without them. I don't wear my contacts much because they bother me at work

so much that I can't wear them and I work so much that I just get lazy and only

wear my glasses. I am so tired of taking my glasses to get repaired and spending

25.00 to fix them that I went to an eye glass place and bought me some frames.

My stupid insurance doesn't cover frames until 2006 so I had to pay out of

pocket. The good news is I found some great ones for 253.00 that were on sale

for half price (125.00) but when I looked in the cases I saw some, just like

those, that were 59.00! SCORE! I have VERY expensive tastes. All the ones I

liked were between 200 - 300.00! Doesn't it just figure? My new glasses will be

ready Tuesday. So, until then, contacts at work it is! BLAH!

Okay. Enough babbling. I hope you are all having a great weekend. So far, so

good for me. Worried about having a loss this week since I lost so much last

week but I am doing my best. SEE YOU ALL LIGHTER! ROCK ON for a great week.
