Guest guest
Hi. My name is e and my daughter Abby is 10 months old. My husband is and we also have a 3 year old daughter, . Abby is thought to have a mito disorder. At 10 months she is not yet rolling over, has microcephaly (since birth), seizures (infantile spasms), hypotonia, possibly blind, very small feet, and screams as if in pain quite often before a bowel movement. I am from Canada so I have also joined the Canadian mito group. I am wondering how common it is to have congenital microcephaly with a mito disorder? Her lactate was 2.5 in her blood and 5.6 in her spinal fluid so the docs at the Mayo Clinic took a skin biopsy to narrow down what she may have. She also has quite severe sleep apnea and she is quite gurgly all the time. Any ideas or comments would be appreciated. Thanks e
