Hi ,

I am also BU and have had no problem getting pregnant. The first time

I ttc, it worked on the first try. I lost that pregnancy at 14 wks

due to several severe defects to the fetus, not related to BU. The

second and current pregnancy took 3 months. I am now 20 weeks and

doing well. I have actually read that women with BU may get pregnant

more easily than those without uterine abnormalities. Good luck in

the future!

Hi ,

If you are sure that you have a BU rather than a SU, then don't let the SU

stats freak you out--they do tend to be worse.

I had a complete SU, now partial. Am now 39. I have had at least 5 and

maybe 6 pregnancies. I have 1 living child.

Working with the 5 certain pregnancies:

Age 20. Was an oops that happened right away and ended within a few weeks.

Age 33, (after deciding to TTC via donor sperm): took one month, ended at 5

weeks.

Age 34: took 5 cycles and ended at 19 weeks.

Age 36, after corrective surgery to uterus: two cycles. Ended in missed

miscarriage at 11 weeks.

Age 37: took 4 cycles, ended at 37 weeks, with the delivery of a healthy

boy. Had to have a cerclage placed at 11 weeks.
