I'm currently working for a guy in Florida, doing data input.. doesn't pay a ton, but if I can receive & do 3 an hour, it's not a bad living.. won't be enough to affect my SSDI.. which is a good thing too.. but when all one did during the productive employable years was part-time minimum wage jobs.. that doesn't build much for an income from SSDI.. need something to supplement that.. goodness knows.. it ain't cheap bein' disabled... ya can't have a wheelchair and a walker ordered at the same time.. gotta wait a week or two between those.. now does that make any sense at all????... Course then I found out that the tub-transfer that I paid for out of pocket.. Gateway Medicare Assured WOULD have paid for... I guess they figure it's cheaper to pay for those things and keep me in my house than to be put in nursing care.. and they're right on that.. I know that it's sooooo hard to find things to do.. I haven't been with this guy but a little over a week, and I have no clue what his needs for people to do the input is.. but I will keep you in mind should he ever ask me if I know of anyone else that needs to do some side work... who knows.. we may turn this into a network of data inputters.. though it does become time consuming.. waiting for the emails to come in.. and we just had a 3 or 4 day down time when the website the data gets input to went down.. it's back up as of yesterday afternoon.. and I did 12 last night.. looking for a ton more this morning.. and of course.. I could go back to sleep with NO problem this morning.. LOL I also need to find, until I get back to mall-mart to pick up that little fan fiction thing that goes under a laptop to keep it cool, some way to raise the laptop from the desktop to help keep it cool.. was thinking pill bottle lids.. at the four corners.. that might work, and not make it too high.. if you have any ideas.. pass em on, they'd be appreciated. I should have taken him up on the idea of buying that thing last night.. I really should have.. but I wanted to find out how much money I had in checks (this guy pays on a nearly daily basis.. I have one check for $3 among the others.. he paid for the first training input, and didn't realize I guess that I'd pick up that fast. but he gave me 4 more that evening..LOL. so another check for $12.. among the others).. I'm also expecting the short term disability check from where I work.. and I wanted to make sure we weren't running ourselves too close till next paycheck... I hate living like this.. but I've never known anything really any different.. and I fall in with just about everyone else.... but I refused to buy the thing yesterday... one of these days I'm gonna stop being stubborn about things for me.. LOL.. one would have most likely came home with us.. IF could have bluffed his way through HIM needing it... that's how I ended up with a new computer chair once.. and then a 22 inch monitor.. lol.. Oh well.. As my dad always sez... Watch the pennies.. the dollars will take care of themselves.... I wanna reply... I'm still thinking.... necessity IS the mother of invention... I once created a automatic toilet seat lifter.. after the hubby had shoulder surgery and wasn't allowed to move his shoulder... and I got tired of running to the bathroom to lift the seat for him (bending over was quite painful for him)... I tied a large piece of yarn round the toilet seat.. and then around the shower curtain rod.. didn't have to run to lift the lid for him again... lol........ still had to watch so that I didn't fall in when I went though!
