Guest guest
Hello, I've been gone for some time now. I'm just having so much going on in my life right now, but I try to read some of the most recent post every once in awhile. I read this post, and had to respond. I've been on home IV rehydration, well it was stopped on Fri, but I was on it for 2 weeks. My doc was kind enough to order me IV phenergan (it only took 6 days to get it!) and the first dose I gave myself knocked me on my you-know-what. I think I slept for almost 24 hours! Maybe not that long, but I know it knocked me on my butt. I have been taking phenergan pills & suppositories for almost 9 yrs, and I've always had IV phenergan when I go on " vacation " in the hospitals. I don't know why it effected me the way it did. Good luck! Lots of Hugs,

Guest guest
> I can only take the phenergan after work. Dear Rob, Could you tell me a little something about phenergan? Is it to relieve the pain or the nausea?

I have also taken reglan in the past. It's funny, but when I'm in the hospital, they give me the compazine via injection, which seems to work better than the pill form. I wish I could get the injections for home.

Guest guest
, I know what you mean. In the hospital for pain they give me IV dilauded for the pain, it works better than anything else. I tried it at home in pill for and it just doesn't do the trick. I gues it's the chemistry of it. I myself can't ake compazine. Once I went in with a bad headache and fever and the wanted to check for menengitis. We'll they did a spinal tap and said to stay still for a couple of hours. The gave me the compazine for the nausea and the headache. Well I turned beat red and was jumping out of skin. I couldn't keep still. Well sorry for bending your ear. Good luck.
