help - cholangitis attack?

how do you know if you are having a cholangitis attack as opposed to

coming down with a stomach bug or something? my husbnd is copmlaining

of pain in his chest/ribs area - he says he feels like " maybe he

pulled something " in his back - and his stomach is upset and he feels

like he has heartburn. he also feels fluish. These are not hte kind

of symptoms with which we would generally run to the hospital, but if

this is a bacterial cholangitis attack i'm concerned about letting it

go and having some big complications are something. Does anyone have

advice? Thanks,
