Guest guest
Hi Clare, I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your sweet Toby. Please try to stay positive that this pregnancy will a success. I would love to offer any support possible as I am in my first trimester as well. I am approximately 5 weeks with #1 and had my uterine/vaginal septum removed. I don't know about you, but I don't think I can possibly feel any more exhausted, emotionally and physically. As this is my first and all these emotions are new to me, I've been researching a bit on how to keep my energy as positive as possible (I went into a fit of hysterical crying last night just because DH forgot to put leftovers back in the fridge ) ) and from what I've found, pampering is key. So, I've decided to unplug the phone during my naps, start prenatal yoga and visit the salon for pedicures as often as possible. How is your energy so far? Any morning sickness yet? Wishing tons of great energy your way. Guest guest
Hi Sue Thanks for your support. Our EDD is the same day. I am trying to get more positive each day that in 8 months I will have my much wanted baby in my arms. I am planning on drinking tons, eating to keep my energy high and relaxing as much as possible - pedicures seem like a great idea (my mum is a chiropodist so guess what she'll be doing this weekend!!!) Maybe I will book in for some massages too. I am trying to keep the reasuring thoughts my RE told me that just because I had one PTL does not mean another will follow. He is also not convinced that my uterus was the cause of the problem and said it could have been down to external factors such as an infection. He also said that people easily carry twins to term or near term so even if you have a uterus half the size of a normal uterus (which mine isn't) there is no reason why it can't stretch to accomodate a baby. Positive thoughts all the way is the way to deal with it I think. Just looking forward to having the first 12 weeks or so over with. Haven't had any morning sickness yet but had none with Toby either so am hoping I am lucky in that way at least. What about you? I'm quite tired and am finding it difficult to get up in the morning but that is nothing unusual for me. Never was much of a morning person. When are you having your first appointment at the doctors? I am still trying to contact mine but they have said they will scan me every 4 weeks this time starting at 8 weeks so only a few weeks to go till that - the first hurdle. I can't wait. I know what you mean about the physical and emotional drain on your energy. I am fine most of the time and then burst into tears for no reason. At least we can blame hormones. Looking forward to keeping in touch. Make sure your dh puts the leftovers away from now on - I should think the hysterical crying was enough to make him remember!!! Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy. Clare EDD 10/25/04 UD > Hi Clare, > I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your sweet Toby.
