Guest guest
Hi, I had my hyst (no lap) on Wednesday and am finally feeling better. The resection went fine (Dr said the septum was bigger than expected?), but I ended up with " fluid overload " that settled in my lungs and they kept me in the hospital overnight. Has this happened to anyone else? It was pretty miserable waking up from anesthesia not being able to breathe and puking into the oxygen mask. Then they kept me up all night checking my vital signs every 2 hours. The worst part was when they yanked out the catheter - ow!! I was very happy to go home on Thursday. I have been a little short of breath, but better every day. The weird thing is that I have had very little cramps or bleeding until today. I have been laying on the couch all weekend, and if I got up and walked around for more than an hour or so I would start bleeding bright red. But no cramps. But this morning I woke up with cramps and bleeding. More than spotting, but not a real flow. If it doesn't ease up by noon I think I will call the doctor. I am on estrogen for a month with 10 days of progesterone at the end of the month. Then 2 more months until I get a follow-up SHG. Can't wait to see my new roomy uterus!
