But I have to over look it because the ones who are so against it are usually the least informed. People who do not know what this surgery is about and what we are trying to do tend to be against it. All they here are the bad stories the stories of those who have died. But what I have tried to tell them is that we all run the risk of dying every single day. Every time you get behind the wheel of a car you take that risk. And both of my friends who have spoken out the most about it have both had children. I try to explain to them that they could die in childbirth, but it was worth it to them to take that risk. You just have to stick to your guns and be as informed as you can and don't listen to what they say. Luckily my husband and my mother are both very much in my corner on this. My husband has even said that we can take out a loan to pay for it if the insurance does not. So focus on those in your corner and do you best to educate those who are not. That is the way I handle it.
