Guest guest
Christy, how far are you from Vienna, GA? We watched a show on the food network tonight and we would love to go to the BBQ contest they have there. Or atleast go to their hometown's BBQ restaurant. http://www.bigpigjig.com Shirley
Guest guest
Yep, it came right over us. A lot of roads are flooding, which is why the schools are all closed, but we're ok. Our creek rose over the banks but the house is up on a hill so, other than the backyard flooding, we made it through ok. Many many around here aren't so lucky. Christy I have a feeling we won't hear from Christy for awhile....I hope they are all OK....Here is part of the report on Georgia.....Pam By 11 a.m., the center of the storm was over southwestern Georgia, about 15 miles east-northeast of Albany. It was moving north near 12 mph and was expected to turn to the north-northeast and move over the Carolinas. About 50 homes in Valdosta, Ga., in the south-central part of the state, were evacuated early Monday because of flooding. More than 76,000 Georgia homes and businesses were without power, and about 760 people stayed in Red Cross shelters. Guest guest
Yeah he did great but he was slowed by several wrecks on I-75. One in particular.... the Heinz corporation had an 18-wheeler that dumped it's entire load of mustard and ketchup all over the interstate in Cordele, GA. Ronnie enjoyed watching that cleanup even though he was stuck behind it. This one wasn;t quite so bad.... they sent him out during Ivan too! What was so ironic is that he had to go to the same places the paychecks come from (on a different truck) and when he came back to the distribution center and waited to get paid (it happened to be payday) they told him the weather was too bad and the checks couldn't make it through. Hmmmm maybe they should have out THEM on Ronnie's truck too. They're all a bunch of jerks. And nothing against NASCAR but the entire company took a pay cut and my dear friends got laid off when they had to finance that race car. Go figure. Buy Napa. Bah! Three years and Ronnie's finished with them! Christy Christy, So glad you all are OK....Napa is operated on the same intelligence level as the USPS--the mail must go thru at any cost.I trust that Ronnie returned safely from his assignment.Hugs,MelindaPlease visit our website at:http://ACES_Autoimmune.tripod.com
