Hi SueSie,

I had a scan at the same time with my daughter and they said that she had a

normal variance in the heart, is this what they are saying you have?

If it helps I was sent for a second scan to check the exact nature of the

problem and it turned out what they had seen was a reflection of a rib. I

know that it makes a huge difference the machine that they use.

I hope everything goes well for the rest of your pregnancy and that I get to

post your success story.

Hello everybody,

just a short update concerning my pregnancy and "miracle baby".

I am now at 22 weeks and 2 days. Last friday I had an appt at the university clinic for a special US (organ screening), everything seems to be fine. There was only one thing in the heart ("white shot"),that could be a sign for the down syndrom, but as there was nothing else found, they told me that certainly it doesn´t mean anything.

And they told me that it will be a girl!

Sorry that I don´t write more often but we are renovating the whole house, and there is a lot of work to do until baby will be born!

to Poly: I am so happy for you!! The photo of m you have posted was great - she is so cute and wonderful !!! All my prayers and thoughts to you! And I really hope that we will meet one day!...

to Zahie: sorry that you have to be here, but you are lucky to have found this wonderful group of women! I am sure you will find a lot of help here! Concerning writing french: it was just an idea - I really would like to speak to someone in french, and as you wrote that you were living in France, I have asked you...

to : Wonderful!! You have almost finished your pregnancy! And of course Jaden with you at home - you must be very happy this year! Best wishes for you and your family!!

to Astrid: very good news concerning your bleeding! Do you remember? I have told you already before the surgery that there will be really hope!

to all the other members (especially the pregnant ones): Best wishes and God bless you all!

Hi Lesia,

thanks for your answer!

They told me that it is a kind of " lime " called " white shot " , and

often this is found in the heart of babies with the down syndrom. For

the moment there is no other reason for that, so they told me that it

is not an important sign for down syndrom.

I hope that my gyn will explain the results for the next appt (22.7.)!

Nevertheless, this pregnancy is already a success story! Nobody can

believe (much less explain!) how I could get pregnant. Even Dr. Putz

who has done the surgery was very surprised...I think my story will

give hope to a lot of women in this group!

You can never say this or that is a hopeless case...

Best wishes
