Our marriage became celibate a long time ago when Jim decided that he was afraid he was afraid he would hurt me more (when I was having some really bad back problems or fibromyalgia acting up). Of course, Jim's Mom knew nothing of this but I can always remember her sitting at our kitchen table and saying that if Jim was anything like his father I wouldn't have to worry about being bothered with all that sex stuff...this all came about the time I had my hysterectomy. I thought it was very rude of her and I never commented in any way that would lead her to think that we were having little or no sex at that point. No we just co-exist. There is more to a marriage that copulation.

allergies and other stuff

I'm having so many allergy problems this year my doc is wanting me to get the allergy testing done. I had it done many many moons ago, but haven't had this many problems I don't think ever in my life. I'd love to get off some of my meds but I don't think I could. sigh I had to get a couple of the bigger pill containers because all of my meds wouldn't fit in the smaller one. sigh Oh yeah, add major gagging when I try to take the big "horse" pills. lol

Kathy I'd love to get "some" anytime I wanted it, but its never happened the last few years or so. My gyno said if I had sex more often I wouldn't have such a problem with vaginal dryness. It hurts so bad sometimes that we can't have sex no matter how much I want it. Darn it!! lol

Funny you guys should bring this up. I don't have a problem with anything concerning sex (until now?) but today (Ronnie's birthday celebration LOL) I am bleeding afterward. I've never done this before and, of course, now I'm wondering if the pains are gyno-involved. sigh.

Did it hurt during?? You may need to call your doc if you're bleeding much.

I'm always bleeding after sex now but I'm too scared to tell my husband because it is hard enough now to get him to have sex with all my other problems regarding headaches and me not orgasming etc. Even lubricant doesn't help - it seems to wear out long before it should.

The doctor told me that my walls were so thin, and that caused the bleeding......He gave me some cream to use on before sex that would lubricate my walls.....The pain was horrible.....Sex is no longer a part of our life now........Fear of breaking thru the walls and actually no desire anymore......Must come with age.......

Right now, our sex life has stopped too. It's not me; it's . With his CAD & meds, he just can't - but he wants to. He saw a doc & we have hope that sex will return someday. Even trying is too much work to be fun nowadays. We still have each other & other ways to share our love.

bleeding from the inside... bright red. Just for a few minutes (maybe 30 minutes?) afterwards but enough that wiping didn't do the job and I needed a pad.

I'm sorry to hear that. I suspect that that is what is happening to me. It feels like we do penetrate the wall into my bowel when we have sex. I think that is why I am having terrible trouble with haemoroids lately that are constantly bleeding. I've made an appointment today to see a gastrologist for another colonoscopy - Ugg I hate them so much! My GP is going to do another internal examination next Tuesday to see if she can see any other reason. Giving up sex is not a pleasant alternative for me.
