I am an author and my upcoming literary novel is based on a widow's journey whose child has CHARGE syndrome. My closest association with this syndrome is the research my sister, a geneticist at Baylor, is conducting. I must say, I admire you all for your strength and the sacrifices you make on a daily basis to make lives better for your children. This mother's day, my salute to you all.
