Guest guest
Hi all, just got back from my followup HSG, the septum is still there, which sucks, I get to have another surgery. It is so disapponting and I know that you guys understand. Last time around the dr made me take a drug to stop ovulation and decrease the uterine lining, she better not think I am taking it again, it made me have an upset stomach daily, cried at the drop of a pin, was such a bitch at work, I will not take it again, she can just do the surgery without it. Now there are adhesions on the right tube and ovary. What next? I am so tired of having my life in limbo - not knowing if I will ever have a successful pg, and I know that alot of you have been waiting for a long long time and I feel for you so much, it isn't fair and I wish for a miracle for all of us. Thanks for letting me vent. Kristi D. 31, m/c 2/03 ,4/03 resected 11/06/
Guest guest
((((Kristi)))), I'm so sorry that you are having to deal with this. Like it isn't bad enough to have a septum, and now this, right? I'm sorry that I missed your story when you had your first resection. But I know how you are feeling. I had to have my SU resected twice. I remember I was so upset when the first surgery was a flop. Neither of my drs stopped my ovulation prior to surgery, and after hearing you describe it I hope that it is something that you will not be expected to endure again. It can be done without stopping your cycle, but I know that some drs practice differently when it comes to this. Will they be able to safely remove the adhesions on the tube and ovary? I know that you feel like you are spinning your wheels right now while the months rip off the calendar. But don't take your eye off of the prize, ok? The steps you are taking aren't fair, but it will bring you closer to holding that baby that you are hoping for. It WILL happen, hang in there. I just had my first baby after a m/c, 2 resections and a chemical pg...I remember feeling like it wouldn't ever come true. Sending you big hugs to get you through this next step. >>>> I am so tired of having my life in limbo - not knowing if I will > ever have a successful pg<<<<<<< I'll be wishing for your miracle to come true soon, Sara 36, SU resected x2, mommy to Veda (10/2/2003)
Guest guest
{{{{{Kristi}}}}} I am so sorry that you need more surgery. Why is this so danged common to need a second one? Apparently hysteroscopy is as much an art as a science! I hope that you get through this quickly and find a quick answer to your question: a successful pregnancy. Best wishes, -- Beth SU, resected x
