Guest guest
Dawn, I had no idea about your bankruptcy, you poor thing, you certainly have a heap to deal with. My business is an optical shop - we do eye testing and make spectacles and it is quite a successful little enterprise and has kept us in food and rent. I started it ten years ago (I am an optician) and since I became sick has taken it over as he is an orthoptist or ophthal technician so is also in the eye business. We also have three part-time staff. Thanks so much for your kind words about my successful insurance claim, I hope you get your through soon too. I am behind with my post reading but you still don't sound too good. Have you got that cane yet? Sounds like an excellent start but I really hope all of this pain goes away for you soon. Take care of yourself. Lesley xxx > >Reply-To: OurMyositis >To: OurMyositis >Subject: Re: Can't wait to tell you guys! >Date: Sat, 13 Jul 2002 14:07:03 -0300 > >HOORAY!!!!! Guest guest
Hi Dawn, My, your rent is SO cheap! I was going to say that you are very lucky but there is certainly nothing lucky about not having your own place, I know! At least, though, it isn't crippling you like our rent has been. I hope everything works out with your disability claim soon and that your MLA gets his act together soon. Just keep hassling. Yes, I am fortunate with my business and it looks now as though we won't have to sell it and can continue to run it, as we need an income. That was the worry if we sold it, would be able to get a job at the age of 49! Anyway, it looks like it is all working out. It is in a shop in a shopping centre (outdoor type, not a mall) and we pay a large rent there as it is a good spot. ($3500/month!) It holds its own but not when we have to take the home rent, my medical bills and 's college fees out of it! Anyway, I know things will get better for you soon. I agree, maybe the pred was reduced too quickly for you. That can make you feel really bad I believe. Keep on at your docs! Take care, Lesley > >Reply-To: OurMyositis >To: OurMyositis >Subject: Re: Can't wait to tell you guys! >Date: Fri, 19 Jul 2002 13:27:56 -0300 > >Hi, Lesley.
