Two veggies is all I have at each meal, so we can each eat two

different veggies. I honestly don't feel like making yet a third food.

Plus, the leftovers of the asparagus will just sit, since nobody but

me eats leftovers.

everyone can have two veggies if they want and you will stick with one

and pass on the asparagus. Gosh, sometimes I have four choices of

veggies on the table!

I'm not crazy about strawberries or bananas, either. I will eat

them, though.

I never try hard to like things I don't like, because the only two

things I really hate are fat and asparagus. I pretty much eat

anything else put in front of me, as I'm not at all picky. I even

eat things like eel and octopus and brains, and things I don't

particularly like a lot. Take me to any ethnic restaurant, no matter

how strange, and I find food I love. Just no fat and asparagus.

But, I won't bother cooking something I'm not going to eat

(asparagus). Still, if there is a way to cook asparagus to make it

palatable to me, I'd try it. As for fat, no way. Yuk.

I also rarely make spinach or eggplant, as they are the only two

foods my husband won't eat. If I cook an eggplant meal, then, my

hubby needs another meal. So, I just don't bother, for the most

part.

My kids aren't picky, either. The only foods my son hates are onions

and zucchini. And the only things my daughter hates are fish and

lentils. Still, I make those foods, because she will just fix cereal

or noodles for herself. But, hubby wants a real dinner, not cereal

or noodles. So, I don't make dinners he won't eat (eggplant parm,

spinach pie). I have the spinach pies for breakfast instead.

At my age, I doubt I will experience much change " later in life, "

LOL! I already am " later in life " !
