1 oz of water for every 2 pounds is half your weight in water.

That's exactly what they mean, not that you drink it in pounds. But,

that if you weigh 200, you drink 100 oz. There is no way on earth

that I could drink half my weight in water. I'd gag on all that

water.

That doesn't make sense to me. If I weight 120 lbs, that would mean I need to drink 60 lbs of water a day, or 960 ounces or 120 cups of water a day!! Impossible!

That doesn't make sense to me. If I weight 120 lbs, that would mean I need to drink 60 lbs of water a day, or 960 ounces or 120 cups of water a day!! Impossible!

Yea, but they don't say so much to do 8 glasses anymore. Now, half

the body weight is what most doctors and nutrionists recommend. All

the doctors I've talked to have told me that. But--I don't do it. I

just can't.

That is another reason I hated Atkins--you pretty much have no

choice but to drink that much doing Atkins because of how

dehydrating the diet is. At my weight, there is no way I can drink

half my weight in water. I spend all day and night peeing as it is,

LOL!

So what am I supposed to do? Just not give any information that I hear

or anything. It seems like every time I do I get yelled at. It's just

In other words, while foods that contain artificial sweeteners may be sugar-free, they may not be carbohydrate-free

***i think what they mean when the Trainer said it was stored AS fat was that it makes u crave more food and more sweet stuff so you may overeat. You still need to watch claories and carbs. wrote:

you are entitled to your own opinion just as everyone else

is :0) . If we didn't share our knowledge how would any of us learn?

Its good to challenge to the norm, it gets everyone's brain working.

Everyone will interpret things different as well. You do what feels

right for you. Maybe the next time you come across something that

raises your eye brow you can ask for peoples input on the info you

have heard/seen? For me I'm more worried abt what harm my Splenda is

doing to my body long term than a fat cell,lol I wish I could give

it up. Its always in the back of mind. I have been using Splenda for

a yr now.
