Guest guest
OH! I'll have to try that...cause I sure like it crisp. Kathy RE: what a day How do you prepare your corn for the freezer? Do you blanche it and then freeze it on the cob? Yes you're right. Shuck it, desilk it, wash it, blanch it, then put it in freezer bags. Sure is good later. lol Hugs, Please visit our website at:http://ACES_Autoimmune.tripod.com Please visit our website at:http://ACES_Autoimmune.tripod.com Please visit our website at:http://ACES_Autoimmune.tripod.com

Guest guest
Christy, That's how we used to do it. I can't eat corn now, & does most of the cooking, but I think he still freezes corn that way. -- Re: what a day We just shuck it, silk it and stick it in freezer bags and freeze. Turns out fine. ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here

Guest guest
When my foster mom and I did corn on the cob, we froze it without shucking or desilking it.....Then take out as much as you want, shuck it and desilk it, or roast it on the bbq still in the shuck....It is delicious.... Guest guest
I thought you did know that my dad was there. I don't visit much, with school and work. Will probably go there at Christmas this year. I'll let you know . Fonda what a day We had 41 tornadoes here today. I cannot believe it! There is a lot of damage statewide, but noone has been killed, thank God. I've been trying to reach my father in Georgia to check on him, but the phone just rings and rings. Did anybody hear anything about Columbus, Ga? I'm skimming my mail and it looks like everyone on the list is ok. I'm so glad. Fonda Cloudeight Funletters: bringing FUN to your email FREE! Click Here!
