Well I'm glad I'm not alone. I feel like crap but all I can do is just

move on and hope that i didn't hurt myself too bad. i haven't weighed

myself because of totm. i'll weight myself after that and see how it

affected me. hopefully by that time all the damage will be undone.

So what you're saying is that i'm doing something wrong because i

have cravings around my totm. that's not true. just about every

woman has cravings around their time. mine just didn't used to be

prominent because i was always stuffing my face. this is the first

time i've ever had crazy cravings like this. now that ate the pizza

it's gone. i still feel very bad about cheating though. i am being a

mature individual i drank 88 oz of water and exercised last night. i

exercised today as well. i am in control of my cravings and i chose

to cheat. i think that's great that i only cheated once 36 days.

besides around totm your hormones are out of wack which is another

reason why there are cravings. so i didn't do anything wrong to get

the cravings it's just that time.

---I am not saying you did anything wrong, I am questioning

any/everyone who is slip slidin, when they are and what they do the

day(s) after. This is not an exact science. There aren't double

blind/placebo studies on testing carbs/cravings-hormones/cravings; But

like a smoker, there is often alot of 'smoke' that goes along w/

dieting/cheating, alot of 'justifying' why it happened. If YOU climb

right back on the wagon, EXCELLENT. For many though, a slip starts to

feel like they stepped into quicksand and down they go, slowly and

painfully; True?

I disagree that 'most' women get menstrual cravings, anymore than

most get 'menopausal hormone cravings'. Mine sure are in an uproar but

I am not craving/caving; and what I said previously was I was a big

old snack junkie who has BTDT many times, what is different this time,

or what was the 'cause' of previous 'meltdowns'? Which are truely

physical and which are psychological factors in that regard. Maybe

during periods, hormones make some moody, weepy, and that 'emotional'

upheaval cries out for the old comforts? But is it habit or craving in

this NEW WOE. I don't know.

My main concern is to keep cravings at bay so that experiencing

the 'guilt' associated with them, and the backsliding that often goes

with them, is minimized.

Its good to talk about the 'mechanics' of this WOE and of

weightloss. There are so many mixed messages that go with any program

for weight loss.

How did your day end? and whats for breakfast everyone?

WHen I was on Atkins I switched to Mich Ultra. Made me very drunk

though!! lol THen I switched to Light, still low carb, 3.6 I

believe. At the hockey game, it was Coors Light or full flavor beers.

I had 4, and having not drank in such a long time, boy, was I feeling

loopy!

I don't particularly care for red wine, I prefer white. But I'm going

to go to my fav wine cellar and see what they have in a red. That way

in the future if I feel the need, I'll have some red wine.

This is not Atkins nor a low carb diet. You are not "allowed" beer of any kind, low carb, high carb, or no carb. These are the only drinks "approved" on this plan so telling others to drink low carb beer is not good. They should not be having ANY. Carol

Enjoy, in moderation (limit 2 servings daily): Red and white wine (one serving = 3-4 ounces) Champagne (one serving = 3-4 ounces) Vodka (one serving = 1 1/2 ounces) Gin (one serving = 1 1/2 ounces) Rum (one serving = 1 1/2 ounces) Bourbon (one serving = 1 1/2 ounces)

AVOID: Beer Port wine Liqueurs (including Kahlua, 's, Amaretto, schnapps, etc.) Sherry Wine coolers (often contain a lot of added sugar)

---This is a moderate carb lifestyle. I wonder if the statements

regarding beer were made before they were altered. The calorie

content is low, the carb level is moderate. What about 'today's beer

would not be SB compliant?

As for telling someone to drink beer, I was suggesting that if a

beer was to be had, one under the specs I listed was the best of that

situation. Not recommending that someone enjoy a lovely, malty, cold,

frothy, adult beverage on occasion as part of their WOE. Chuckle

Chuckle

Where did this list come from?

Chuck

Re: Re: I CHEATED TODAY! :-(
