Hi there.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I also have a didelphic uterus.

I am currently 28 weeks pregnant with my third little girl. The

first two I carried in my right horn both to full term. I had

csections due to breech position. This time I am carrying in my

left horn. It's slightly smaller than the other side, but so far

all is well. There are several of us on this board who have UD with

successful FULL TERM pregnancies. UD pregnancies can have very good

outcomes. Good luck with your pregnancy. If I can offer you any

more info, please don't hesitate to ask.

Hi, I have UD and I am currently 35 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I will

be having a c-sec on either Jan 28, or Feb 4 (36 or 37 weeks), due to the baby

running out of room and my BP is rising to PIH levels. From the experiences of

the UD women on this board the chances of term or close to term pregnancies are

pretty high. Congratulations and good luck on the rest of your pregnancy.

  • 2 weeks later...

I am new to this group and also have a didelphic uterus. I had my son

in February of last year at 30 weeks. I caution you to be very

careful after reaching the point of viability. I had a

completely " normal pregnancy " and then went to work one day, my water

broke & I had my son 4 hours later. He spent 8 weeks in the Neonatal

Intensive Care Unit. I was not prepared for this at all. Luckily, he

is doing great now but I wouldn't want anyone to experience what we

went through. Please take it easy, don't work if you don't need to &

get a second opinion from a perinatologist. My doc had the " wait &

see " attitude. Better safe than sorry. Every day you can stay

pregnant is a lifetime to your baby.
