Aha. Do you have to cook it to get it to thicken? Or do you just add it to the recipe all at once?

Sub for Cream of Mushroom Soup?

DH's all-time favorite food is my Mom's hamburger stroganoff recipe, which calls for cream of mushroom soup. Does anyone know of a GF version of condensed cream of mushroom soup? Or a recipe to make some? I'm searching various archives and websites, but I'm trying to find out fast as DH wants it for dinner. Perhaps I'll make it the regular way and have something else for myself. (

I was having trouble finding it in my area.(VA) I

e-mailed progresso and they gave me a list of stores

that carried cream of mushroom. Hope this helps.
