I forgot to add that didn't have a cerclage, but my cervices were

both monitored closely by US until 24 weeks, at which time my OB felt

I was out of the danger zone for IC.

SU resected, bicollis

<<For any of you out there that had your septum resected and are now

Bicollis and have children, does being Bicollis require one to have

a c-section or is vaginal delivery still possible with the septum

remaining in the cervix? >>

Sue,

I am not bicollis, but was a complete SU, got resected and still have a

double internal os. The septum ends right at the cervix and that bit is

still there. Had an IC loss prior to resections. In a subsequent pregnancy

I had a cerclage and my cervix stayed over 4 cm. long throughout the

pregnancy. I sometimes think that the double os *helped* the cerclage hold

things together. My RE said that I had a 90% chance of a vaginal delivery,

with malpresentation accounting for the 10% chance of c-section. But

because I had a uterine perforation during surgery, we had a c-section. It

wasn't bad.

Good luck to you.
