Guest guest
Those are great Shirls.....Sounds like a nice trip for you...... Photos from Shirley - 2004 trip Last week Steve had a HVAC computer class for work in Rockford, IL. I went with him since the hotel was paid for and he got a per diem for his food. We left Friday, June 3rd and headed to Kenosha, WI and stayed there until Sunday. On Sunday we went up to Milwaukee to check out Lake Michigan there. We then headed to Rockford, IL at 3 Sunday afternoon. In IL we stayed in a Residence Inn. It had a full kitchen, well except for an oven but didn't need that. We wanted/needed a refrigerator for my Avonex and of course my Dr. Pepper and bottled water. The bedroom could be shut off from the living area with doors. That made it nice on nights I couldn't sleep. I didn't leave the room expect for at night. It was too hot and humid for me to go anywhere. It was 90° atleast most days. If I got vertigo there was no one to pick me up. Then it rained. I used the indoor pool to do water aerobics then we went out at night to eat. I borrowed a laptop but it was dialup so it was so slow I didn't get much email read. So that was my week last week. Below click on the highlighted "2004 trip" under the picture if you want to see some photos.
