Guest guest
Pam--You may have Parkinsonism as symtoms of side effects from meds, so maybe with taking so many away that will help. Hope you find out it isn't another diagnosis. Take care of yourself. (((hugs))) Kathy More news on me Well, I had to go to the ER Tuesday night as my heartbeat dropped in to the 40's and my blood pressure wasn't far behind it......They took me off one of my heart meds and then yesterday I went to see my primary and my heart doc.....They took away a couple more meds to see if it helped.....Then my primary told me there is a possibility that I may have Parkinson's......She put me on a pill that is suppose to help with the shakes, jerks, ect......Well, if they help or not, no one knows because they make you sleep......LOL.....I will have to see the Neurologist for the final dx of Parkinson's.... There is really no blood test, xray or such to confirm.....Only certain symptoms, and I have a lot of them.....Oh well, just something else not to worry about.....LOL.... Luv y'all..... Guest guest
OK Pam, it's one more thing. You can deal with this. How stupid that it makes you sleep. You would think that they would want you awake and documenting the changes. Makes you wonder about modern medicine sometimes, huh? How is holding up with the new changes? Is your nurse familiar with what to look for? This is bad but you've been through worse and this will just be another one of those obstacles that you'll get over. Strange how the easiest way to get over things is to rest, right?? I'm here if you need to talk or vent. Guest guest
Why aren't they going to pay for him anymore? Maybe he could recommend someone that is on the list? Don't you just hate insurance hassles? Guest guest
OK let's look on the bright side.... a new point of view can be a good thing. Take your time and check around. See if you can find some patients of the other docs. You COULD go sit in the waiting rooms and listen.....................
