TK--- regualr ala has both the R & S form in it I searched the web and find pure > L/S form ALA and found no offers, just offers for plain ALA (mostly 50:50 D/L > mixture) and a few just D-/R- forms. Does Andy want us to find a source of > L/S form or just use a mixture of 50:50? TK--- buy regular ala Why would some sites I visit state > that R(aka D) form is more bioavailable or effective TK--- because they have a product they need to sell but then Andy says it's > not desireable? TK--- see above - no research done on it and no enough people have used it to know what it will really do. it is up to you to decide if you want to experiment and use the R form. some people have tried it but they do not post often enough to know if it is working or they have had problems. If you read Andy's works and what he posts you will find he is one of those very few people that is [very, very] intelligent and accurate. At some point you have to do your research and decide on who you believe is correct as most of us do not have the educational background to understand the chemistry and science behind what the research says and what people profess or try and sell to make a profit without regard to what it might do to others. > > >
