Yup. Three lists. No reason, just " Nope, can't come in our playhouse! " I

later found out that for one, you must have a complete profile in

egroups.... and I just didn't want to do that!

Fw: Request to join denied

Talk about starting my day off on a sour note! I just received this letter

(see below....I removed the list name) regarding my request to subscribe to

a soapmaking email list. Wonder what I did wrong! There's no explanation.

Has this happened to anyone else?

May I just share another perspective? As a list owner myself, I am

contemplating requiring all subscriptions to be approved because I run a

tight list and I find that people don't read the list rules that are sent

upon subscribing. If and when we make a change, and end up denying

subscriptions, it won't be a personal thing, simply for the good of the list.

All this to say, don't take the rejection too hard!

upon subscribing. If and when we make a change, and end up denying

subscriptions, it won't be a personal thing, simply for the good of the list.
