Dear

What a stupid insensitive cow that nurse is. How dare she upset you that way!

It never ceases to amaze me how so many so called experts know nothing at all

about MA. I had a similar experience to you when I was dx at age 15. It

traumatised me for years and was the main cause of my depression. Thankfully

nowadays there are places like this site where we can receive support and help

from each other.

As you will see from the wonderful ladies here many of them have had babies

with UU. As for IVF; well I have undergone 3 cycles and it is not so bad. It

isn't so good either but at the end of the day if that is what is required to

have a child then I do it. I have BU bicollis; both tubes are bizarre and not

patent hence the IVF. I am currently waiting unti Friday for my first blood

test to see if I am pregnant or not.

Take care and seek as much advice and help from whatever source you can. There

is no reason you can't have a baby!!

All the very best

BU bicollis

This is my first post...

I'm excited to have found this board and look forward to learning for

each of your experiences...here's my story.

My husband and I have been talking about starting a family next

year. We went to the OB-GYN because I have a vaginal septum that

would need to be removed prior to having children (something I

already knew). My doctor said it might be a sign that I have other

other 'female issues' and so I had an HSG. (HURT LIKE HECK) We

weren't concerned until my Doctor who has the best bed-side manners

called me at work at 9am Friday.

She told me in a nutshell that... " You may never be able to conceive,

if you do you will probably not go past your second tri-mester and

there is nothing you can do about it surgically " ...Ok, here is where

I broke down at work and my husband came and got me and we went

home. I was devastated and clueless to say the least.

I have a unicornuate uterus. With all the research we have already

done, the I'm reading the safest way may be In-Vitro, I don't want to

lose the only tube I have. We have a consultation with another OB-

GYN on Wednesday afternoon. He was listed on the American Gyn

Society as dealing with abnormalties of the uterus & infertility. He

is highly recommended and is accepted by our insurance. So we are

crossing our fingers.

We are looking for any possible hope or recommendations we can get.

Just an introduction to myself and I cant wait to get to know you all

and share this experience with those who may help or get me through

the tough times.
