HELP!!!!

A person from Indiana contacted me...her husband needs a liver transplant...they have NO INSURANCE...they want to get to Hopkins for a partial liver transplant, but for now Indiana University Hospital is going to do the evaluation in two weeks....

Can anyone get a transplant with NO INSURANCE??? They have no Medicaid, Medicare, nothing...

Please advise...I don't want to mislead her...Jewish Hospital in Louisville and Univ. of Cincinnati do not do partial transplants...

I

would tell them to stay in and with Indiana! Clarian Hospital is an Excellent

hospital, I know several people who have gotten transplants there – all doing

very well and all LOVE the hospital.

(I would take Ken there

in a heart

beat if we lived closer) Clarian is begging for people to transplant, they have

A LOT of livers and if they are willing to do the evaluation for someone

without funds – they should stay with that hospital.
