Hi,

About 12 years ago I used to use dead sea salts and I had a similiar

situation as Tara did below in her e-mail. I did unusually well for about six

months and then I experienced a similiar situation that got worse and worse.

The worse was to come years later with replumbing many of the pipes in our

home. Yes, daily salts down the drain causes 'metal pipe electrolysis' or ion

changes causing rusted pipes and $4,220 in replumbing the pipes in the walls

from the second story down. Electrolysis is not just the destruction of hair

roots. Call your plumber to ask them about electrolysis and ion changes on

metal pipes caused by a baisin of water once or twice daily as the salt

particles are heavy and do not flush easily. Also how tearing out walls and

floors is expensive and then replacing the pipes are expensive. Much cheaper

to install pipes when a house goes up brand new without the walls and

flooring in place.

I used the dead sea salts last night for the first time.

Unfortunately, I seem to be one who cannot use them.

I soaked my face for approx. 10 minutes but not my whole face

continously. Kinda side to side. Immediately afterwards

my cheeks and forehead felt dry and flaky and irritated. I

used Sy's Moisturizer for Dry Skin and hoped all would

be okay this morning.

I awoke with my right cheek broken out and redder and my cheek areas

are flaky in areas where they normally are not. And my face still

feels irritated.

I will not be using the salts on my face again. I am glad they

work well for others, tho.

Just for information's sake, the brand I used is listed as 100% dead

sea salts with no additives at all. They were bought at

Happy New Years to all,
