Guest guest
Hi everyone. I hope you all had wonderful holidays. I know mine was good and interesting. It was much different being on bed rest and not able to do everything I usually do. My DH loved it because I wasn't able to spend much money. Shopping just isn't easy for me right now. I did go to the grocery store and got " caught " . As I was going in this lady was coming out and said " hi, how are you? " I didn't recognize right away who it was but when she said " this doesn't look like bed rest, you're busted " I realized it is the secretary from my Dr office. In my defense I was on my way home from a checkup at the hospital. I had to go there because my Dr was on vacation. And I did not want to leave the Christmas dinner list up to my husband, past experience says we would have dined on chips and dip and diet coke! I saw my Dr. on Tuesday and since I haven't felt Bethany moving very much he sent me for a NST. I was only there for about 40 minutes and she decided to become very active for the nurse. I also got another US on Wednesday my 6th so far. Thats definitely the good thing about having a MA you get to visit with baby lots! I was very upset to learn that she weighs a whopping 4#15oz!!!! She is going to be a big girl. I was hoping for a petite little one but I'm just as happy with however big she is. I'm hoping though that I deliver more around 36 weeks than 40. And I'm still having a section, I was thinking that if she was small enough my Dr. might consider giving me a trial of labor, but where she is definitely going to be big we won't even consider it. Right now I'm still having LOTS of BH contx, they are getting increasingly stronger it seems, but nothing is changing. I give myself about 3 more weeks then I'm starting jumping jacks or something. I thought the first trimester took forever, I'm thinking the last tri. is worse because the anticipation is incredible and I'm not a very patient person right now. Happy New Year! Margarite UD 32 weeks 5 days waiting impatiently...
Guest guest
Margarite- Whoohooo! I can't believe that you are almost 33 weeks....and she weighs so much! I am so excited!!! Hold off on those jumping jacks for just a bit..I know you are tired of bed, but it will all be worth it in the long run. I will keep you and baby in my thoughts - Fused UD (after your post, I have this mental picture of a very pregnant lady doing jumping jacks in the grocery store... hehehe)
