If the EEG is normal, you might want to consider a 24 hour EEG, ask them about it, you have a lot better chance of capturing seizure activity in that time span and it may give you more of a clue as to what is going on. Lots of kids seize during sleep and lots also seize early morning as they are waking. The only way to be sure would be to either sleep with him or use a baby monitor and listen in. Another symptom would be bed wetting? There another on-line yahoo group called epilepsy.kids@... Try them for support, this group is great for the diet and epilepsy but the other could help too.
