Guest guest
Okay, can someone help me out? I am wondering if my breathing problems might not be due to Kathleen's cat, the lovely Maeve. She is black and long-haired. I've spent time in the house the past year that she's been there and have had no problem...Go figure...Any advice, comments, etc?Ann-MarieSend and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: Click Here

Guest guest
Hi Ann-Marie. Sometimes the dander from a cat can cause breathing difficulties, but if you haven't had problems before, this probably isn't the case now. If, however, you want to find out for sure, you should consider giving the cat a good scrubbing, and see if that helps. There are several techniques to this, but I have found the one below to be particularly effective: How to Bathe a Cat * Thoroughly clean the toilet. * Add the required amount of shampoo to the toilet water, and have both lids lifted. * Obtain the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom. * In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids (you may need to stand on the lid so that he cannot escape). * CAUTION: Do not get any part of your body too close to the edge, as his paws will be reaching out for any thing they can find. * Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a " power wash and rinse " which I have found to be quite effective. * Have someone open the door to the outside and ensure that there are no people between the toilet and the outside door. * Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids. * The now-clean cat will rocket out of the toilet, and run outside where he will dry himself. You may, of course, choose to employ a different method. Stay cool. Mike B >
Guest guest
Mike, Do you provide a mobile service? My cats could do with a clean but they are a little feisty for me! You sound like an expert! Guest guest
Vicki, My problem is basically a tightness, but I have slight wheezing and a dry pesky little cough sometimes when I take a very deep breath. (It isn't an "I'm sick" cough!)Ann-MarieJoin the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. Click Here
