ALA question, can one be too toxic to use it?

I am again trying ala. On round nine, of dmsa 12.5mg. Added in 5mg ala.

Getting headaches again, just like the last time I tried to use it. I

do not get the headaches with dmsa alone. Taking it every three hours.

Maybe I need to wait until like round 50 or something?
