Guest guest
I read your post about how upset you were with your drs. appt. It really made me upset that a dr. would not have the decency to talk to you like an educated human being. You wondered about Elavil: My rheummy gave it to my in 10mg & 25 mg. doses and told me to take it a few hours before bed to help with sleeping and its mostly prescribed for pain. I have heard of people who say they were pain free in a short time. Well, it hasn't helped the pain but it does help me get to sleep just a little more faster compared to when I wasn't taking it. It might be worth a try for you. And we must have the same thing wrong with us: I have those tremors and shakes so bad and alot of them when Im stressed (which is always); my rheummy also gave me a small dose of Valium to take in the evening but I ran out just after I moved here to VA and my dr. is in NJ; so I wasn't able to refill it and see if continued use would help them. Please let me know if and when someone has some advise for you on that as Im concerned too that I have Parkinsons. I wish you the best of luck and I hope you are feeling much better by the time you read this!! Thanks for listening! Dawn
