Guest guest
, How confusing! I would call and ask about getting progesterone support. What could it hurt? PS: I'm glad that your HCG went way up though... and with it being so high, they could see it on u/s for sure. Have you talked to the doctor about this? I would almost demand to speak to him and voice your concerns... still praying sweetie.

Guest guest
Ok, I just got the results: My beta more than doubled to 4835, but my progesterone dropped from 26.5 to 15.5 This really sucks. They say it still is in the normal range but a drop like that can't be good. The nurse practioner will call me back later today. Basically, we are in a waiting game. More blood on thursday and a sonogram next week if it keeps going up I guess. Has anyone heard of the the progesterone dropping like that and it still being a good pg??? lisa r T.T.F.N. Guest guest
r, I can't really comment on the progesterone drop intelligently, so I'll just refrain from that. All the dr wants to do is wait until Thurs? If it's something to do with progesterone, why wouldn't he want to put you on supplements...that's just the first thing that came to my mind. Why can't they do a u/s sooner than next week? Seems to me your HCG is plenty high enough. Okay I know I'm not helping so I'm going to go. I'll be praying that everything ends up being just fine. -AmyR

Guest guest
, My Dr. has told me that immediately upon getting pg again, he would put me on Progesterone. So, I would ask your Dr. if he can do that. Maybe it will help! That's what builds up your uterine lining so the baby really implants deep. It's worth checking out. I'm keeping you in my prayers............. elle > Ok, I just got the results: My beta more than doubled to 4835, but my > progesterone dropped from 26.5 to 15.5 > > This really sucks. Guest guest
Hey R-- They should definitely be able to see something on U/S with your beta. I have to agree with the others that you should get on prometrium or crinone as soon as possible. I think doctors like to see progesterone levels in the 20's. I've heard various theories about progesterone levels. I won't bore you with them. I have a history of low progesterone and even with my ep, my RE put me on crinone to battle that problem. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you +++++. Try to get in for an U/S earlier, okay? > Ok, I just got the results: My beta more than doubled to 4835, but my > progesterone dropped from 26.5 to 15.5 > > This really sucks. Guest guest
, A lot of times people need progesterone suppositories for the first 12 weeks (or longer), it's very possible that everything can still be okay! maria Re: R update > Ok, I just got the results: My beta more than doubled to 4835, but my > progesterone dropped from 26.5 to 15.5 > > This really sucks. Guest guest
, Another important point you should know... a pregnancy won't term immediately because of lack of progesterone (so don't panic), but I would push your doctor. And if he's not responding, talk to another. I know it's hard, but just try to relax. Being upset isn't going to help the baby. I'll be praying for you and dh. maria Re: R update > Hey R-- > > They should definitely be able to see something on U/S with your > beta. Guest guest
- We are fully behind you, praying everything will turn out well. I understand how scared you must be, but I also think many pregnancies have a big scare, but then turn out ok. Keep your spirits up. Are you still bleeding? Any pains? I am here for you, we all are. a
