We watched it scurry up a tree, run out on a branch that reached out to the house, and promptly duck into a hole under the eaves. It then went down in the wall to the basement again. Guest guest
Pepper, Good for you, you have worked hard and paid into Social Security and there is no reason on God's green earth that you should not be able to get it when you need it. It just takes preservance & determination and girlfriend I know you that have both. Hope that you get to feeling much better really quick. Luv ya, Helon > > > Date: 2005/06/05 Sun AM 12:33:14 EDT > To: TexasTOPS > Subject: Re: Re: from bad to worse?? > > Thanks Helon, I tried once when I was first diagnosed with lupus and diabetes due to my husband's and daughter's pushing me to do so. I was denied so i just forgot about it. I felt foolish to go and apply for it anyways at that time. Now this has happened and I am feeling the way I am I plan on going to try and purseu it again and this time when I am denied I too am going to get a lawyer to take it over. Love ya pepper > > txlbug@... wrote:I needed to pursue trying to get disability > > Pepper, > The trick to getting you disability, is to not give up. Thats way too funny!! I have some film I have sent off and I have a couple snapshots of my best friend's husband dressed up in his bee suit. He was taking the old queen bee out and putting in a new one. I think it is sad how bees are raised. When he took the queen out he killed it. A queen can only make so much honey and keep her bee workers busy. when they get old they either get killed by the workers because they don't feed her anymore or the bee keeper kills her. Sad. Whats really bad is that they have these bees in thier back yard and Wilma, (my friend) is deathly allergic to the bee sting!!! If I was that allergic there is no way I would ahve bees in my back yard!! > > I am glad you got the problem taken care of. It seems the more energy I use up the worse the fibromyalgia gets. She tells me I need to try and exercise but if my joints start to burn then I need to quit and let up. I don't think she has a clue how difficult it is to get disability. My older brother was Terminally ill and they even tunred him down the first time. Then with my other brother, Eddie, who has cancer, emphezema, one lung, RA, and acid reflux had to fight tooth and nail to get it even!! He was the one who gave me the info on the Bee Buster guy who drove all the way from Cameron. Apparently, he's in high-demand and makes lots of trips down to the Houston area, too. He had the nerve to tell my hubby (after we paid him), that he often sets his rates based on what kind of car is in the driveway. Own a jag or BMW and his rates go up. I made sure to ask *before* he came out. It set us back $175. Not sure how that compared to the jag/Beamer rate. (Which we don't own!) > > Anyway, he climbed a ladder in his white bee suit/mask and sprayed down in the wall about 6 times. He wasn't able to remove the hive because it was too far down between the exterior board and drywall. We thought it was between the brick and ext. board. Soooo, probably in the future y'all will hear me witching about mice or ants in the wall where the honeycomb/hive is! When he left, we still had lots of bees that were apparently out gathering when the hive was sprayed, so we spent about 2 days spraying those. They're all dead/gone now. Hubby sprayed foam filler stuff in the openings so that we don't repeat that again. I've since found out that there is a bee keeper in Coryell County, but that probably won't help us because Lampasas Co. has a bee quarantine due to a couple of incidents of confirmed killer bees in the county. I guess I am just so use to help others and doing things for myself that I think of myself as a burden. is the most wonderful and loving man I ever met (other than my daddy) and he has my main reason to try and find that bright side to every situation that has hapened lately. LOL Seriously, I know what you mean about the medications....mine if I were paying for all of them would run me anywhere from $300.00 up a month. I have three meds that cost almost a $100.00 per month on their own. But I quailfy income wise to get them from the drug manufacture through my doctor for free, or I would not be able to afford to take them.Helon> > > Date: 2005/06/06 Mon AM 09:46:54 EDT> To: TexasTOPS > Subject: Re: Re: from bad to worse??> > I was talking about the check I would get. Guest guest
" I guess I am just so use to help others and doing things for myself " I know that is one of the hardest things to get used too is accepting help from someone when you have been used to doing for yourself. But try to think of it as allowing them to have the feelings that you got from being able to help someone else all the time. And I can assure that God will supply all of your & needs. I'm really sorry to hear that you can not qualify for Disablity also. I went to my rheumatologist today and she said I needed to pursue trying to get disability. She said the fibromyalgia and lupus was going to make it near impossible to do any type of work that has a lot of physcial labor to it. So I don't know how this doctor thinks I will be able to get it. > > > > > I hope you have a great weekend. The guy who answered the non-emergency number at the fire station didn't know of any bee keepers in Lampasas County. (Which we don't own!) > > > > > Anyway, he climbed a ladder in his white bee suit/mask and sprayed down in the wall about 6 times. Not even a bee keeper can transport 'em out of the county. > > > > > Pepper, it's soooo good to see you posting again! I hope that you're feeling much better.
Luv ya, Helon > > > Date: 2005/06/10 Fri AM 01:39:19 EDT > To: TexasTOPS > Subject: Re: Re: from bad to worse?? > > Once we get moved into the trailor we will have a little money each month. No does not consider me a burden. He is so wonderful. I guess I am just so use to help others and doing things for myself that I think of myself as a burden. > is the most wonderful and loving man I ever met (other than my daddy) and he has my main reason to try and find that bright side to every situation that has hapened lately. > Love pepper > > txlbug@... wrote: > Okay, I'm sure that your check would be enough to cover your meds then. But I'm also very sure that does not consider you a burden on him. Guess I'm going to have to get out my " wet noodle " and make a trip to Baytown and get after you. LOL Seriously, I know what you mean about the medications....mine if I were paying for all of them would run me anywhere from $300.00 up a month. I have three meds that cost almost a $100.00 per month on their own. But I quailfy income wise to get them from the drug manufacture through my doctor for free, or I would not be able to afford to take them. > > Helon > > > > > > Date: 2005/06/06 Mon AM 09:46:54 EDT > > To: TexasTOPS > > Subject: Re: Re: from bad to worse?? > > > > I was talking about the check I would get. I spend about $120.00 a month on meds alone and sometimes more, even with my co-pay. has excellent insurance where he works so I have a $10-$15 co-pay on each RX. I figured if the disablitlity is at least $200.00 then I would at least not be such a burden with the meds I ahve to have. I started working out in the fields when I was just 5 years old picking cotton. I only picked about 50 pounds a day then, BUT, none the less I worked. I started hoeing cotton when I was 9 and I worked 10 HOURS a day and only got .65 an hour. I would work all day in the hot sun and dirt for a whole $6.50. Back then you could buy a whole lot more than now. I held down my first job with the public when I was 15 as a waitress and since then I ahve worked until just recently. One reason I decided to go ahead and try and get it is that we are down to one income now and my meds even with the co-pay comes to about $120.00 a month. If I could get disablitlity then at elast I could get ALL my meds every month. I am going this week and try once more. Keep yopu fingers crossed for me.
