worried about sudden pain at 5 weeks

I am five weeks post op for upper and septo and I have had very

little actual pain in the last few weeks. I was on the phone with

my mom and suddenly my right cheek (about where the pin and plate

is) started throbbing and having a shooting pain. Is it possible

that these nerves are still reattaching? Can laughing and talking a

lot make bring this on? I haven't had any hits to my face and I

don't exercise yet. Has anyone experienced a delayed pain like

this? Also, at what point has the bone fused together? Thanks so

much for any input.
